At Gather4Good® events, people of all ages assemble care kits that are distributed locally to homeless and domestic abuse shelters and to those receiving help through the Catholic United Response program. Care kits provide a sense of normalcy, dignity and hope to people in extreme desperation and need.
It takes about 1-2 hours to assemble individual kits and bag them up for delivery to the service organizations which will distribute them. Volunteers are welcome to work at their own pace and to enjoy the other activities provided.
